    Distribution: Breeding: Rann of Kachchh. Non-breeding: Mainly Gujarat, NW Maharashtra and around Sambhar Lake (Rajasthan). Stragglers elsewhere including Haryana/Delhi, remaining Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, remaining of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

    Distribution: Breeding: Greater Rann of Kachchh and Bhavnagar (both Gujarat). Non-breeding: Most of the western half of the country from Rajasthan-Gujarat till Tamil Nadu. Straggling to the W coast, nearly absent east of Bihar and Odisha. Subject to widespread nomadism.
