Semi-disjunctly in W Ghats from Surat Dangs all the way south till the tip of the peninsula; east through SE Ghats reaching the outskirts of Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Vellore (Tamil Nadu). Type Specimen: NHMUK#1880.1.1.2938a (Holotype).
